Walking the Wall

I’m in the process of moving to this Typepad account from my old Squarespace account (walkingthewall.squarespace.com).  I think I jumped the gun on repointing my domain name so the truth is, I don’t know if the notification of the move will show up on bloglines or not and whether or not I’ll loose a couple people that read that way. We’ll see, anyway, I’ve pulled over all my old posts, though I only fixed the photos on the more recent ones, going back into the archives, the photos will be wonky for awhile.

As to why I swapped, here’s what I put on the squarespace account:

As much as I’ve enjoyed Squarespace, I’m swapping my account over to
Typepad. The sidebar integration is a big reason, but mostly because I
have three blogs I really like to keep…one is my journal: The Edge;
the other is my knitting: Knotted Thread; and the other I like to keep
track of my reading: The Soul of Reading. With Typepad I can have all
three going with slightly different color schemes, which keeps them
uniformed under Walking the Wall but with individuality. Most
importantly, I can customize the sidebars to suit each of the blogs
needs. So, this site will be up until the first of January, but I’ll be
pointing my domain to the other account today (what
that means is that if you put type in
"www.walkingthewall.com" it will go to my typepad account).
