Beautiful window…

“The eyes of men converse as much as their tongues, with the advantage
that the ocular dialect needs no dictionary, but is understood all the
world over.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Window to a SoulMy son was gracious enough to sit still for a good deal of time letting me take pictures of his eye for my picture of the day. He has beautiful eyes that were so large and blue when he was a baby he would break the nurses hearts in the hospital rooms. I remember more than one person coming up to draw his blood and having to leave because they couldn’t do it with him sitting there with giant blue eyes full of tears and the giant alligator tear going down his cheek.

Looking up some poetry about eyes, I ran across a type of poetry called Eye Poetry–but rather than being poetry about eyes, it is poetry for the eyes. Hmmm, I wish I had a load of magazines sitting around, I might just have to try to find some old ones. Although the same concept could be taken using digital images and fonts. I think I’ll just give this a go.
