Eye Poem

Here is my attempt at an Eye Poem–although it is more an Eye Statement. I did this quickly, grabbing images off of google/images instead of out of magazines. Fun!
The people are Thich Nhat Hanh, Ghandi, and Mother Theresa. The caligraphy in the corner bottom left is from Thich Nhat Hanh (also seen in my sidebar for a long time), the “One” symbol is for one.org, a great organization.
While this was a quick piece, I could definitely see doing this with more time and effort and coming up with some neat things.

Hi my name is Meagan and I work with the ONE Campaign. I just wanted to say thanks for the great post on ONE, definitely the first time I’ve seen such great support via artistic design! Because of your show of enthusiastic support, we will be adding your blog as a link on ONE’s blog page. You will be able to check it out at http://action.one.org/blog/.
It will still be a few days until we add you to our growing list of supporters, but keep checking out the web page. Thanks again for your support!!

I’m glad you liked the Eye Poem, it was fun to make it and at the same time great to be able make an important statement. Your organization is great in that it takes away that paralyzing feeling that an individual has that they just can’t stem the flood of poverty and AIDS–One.org focuses on the problem needing to be solved one person at a time by one person at a time.
Keep up the fantastic work!
