- rappel down a cliff (preferably at ocean’s edge)
- Stand in the middle of a forest of Redwoods/Sequoias
- Finish my BA in Literature before my kid’s graduate highschool (should have this done by December 2007)
- Finish my MA in Literature around or just after my kid’s graduate highschool
- Finish my PHd in Literature before I’m too old to use it.
- Learn Tai Chi to a proficiency that I can go outside and do it on my own (not looking to become a master or anything)
This is a work in progress (I have to try and remember all the things I have said “add that to my list” to), and while it might appear that these things are just randomly pulled from the air, there is usually a reason behind them or something that triggered the thought that…”Oh, I should add that to my list.” The jumping out of an airplane was something I said a looooooong time ago when 35 seemed like an ancient age, then when I realized I was nearly 36, my friend and I took care of that one! The ping pong balls came about this summer from a crazy game of ping pong with my neighbor. The skinny dipping idea came from reading The Mermaid Chair, and etc. I have NO idea where the dancing under the full moon came from, I think from a conversation with a friend a long time ago about being body conscious that led to, “Ah well, someday I won’t care and will dance naked under the full moon”…sort of a “wear purple and a red hat” kindof moment that has stuck.

I’m so glad I saw this! I have an old list somewhere on this computer and I’m going to go look at it and see if I can cross anything off! And also remind myself of the goals I set so that I can be working towards them. Great list!
